Linda MacKay PhD

 

Linda has degrees and qualifications in counselling, couple and family therapy, university teaching and a PhD in Critical Psychology (UWS). Linda is a nationally regarded relationship and trauma therapist. She currently is the consultant supervisor of a number of child, youth and adult mental health teams in Sydney.

​

Linda's approach to her work is informed by many years working within traditional psycho-therapeutic models, has evolved to take into account the neurobiology of trauma and anxiety and the connection of these symptoms within the family and workplace emotional process.

 

Linda is a clinical member of Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia ( PACFA) and Accredited Supervisor for the Australian Association of Family Therapy (AAFT) and the Associate Editor (in Practice) of the Australia & New Zealand Journal of Family Therapy (ANZJFT).

 

Linda is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame Australia. Her research interests include Bowen natural systems theory perspectives on stress, functioning and outcomes in anxious families and organisations.

Linda's experience in change management and executive coaching assists business leaders to manage and function better under stress to maximum personal and team functioning.
